Top dentists attend FDP program at Rayat Bahra Dental College and Hospital | India News

CHANDIGARH: Rayat Bahra Dental College and Hospital‘s (RBDCH) department of pediatric and preventive dentistry conducted a faculty development program (continuing dental education program) “Pedovention.”
Faculty attending the program earned six CDE points granted by the Punjab Dental Council. Such programs are regularly organized by RBDCH for Faculty Development (FDPs) under the leadership of Principal Dr Akshey K Sharma.
The attending future dentists also get the opportunity to enhance their educational skills during their ongoing studies.
Dr Umang Jagga, head of the department, and chairperson of the program, said renowned experts from the field of pediatric dentistry had been invited. Dr Ashima Goyal, Head of the Department from PGIMER, expressed her gratitude to Chairman Gurvinder Singh Bahra for taking such initiatives for the educational development of faculty and the students. Invited Guest Speakers Dr Ramesh Ram Fry, HOD from SDDHDC, Barwala and Dr Deepti Jawa Singh from DJDC, Modinagar, demonstrated different techniques to be used in the management of dental anxiety among kids, adults and children. He also dwelt on different pediatric emergencies and gave insights into maxillofacial surgical interventions.
