GURGAON: Union sports and information & broadcasting minister Anurag Singh Thakur on Sunday lashed out at political opposition to ‘The Kerala Story’, saying those who speak against the Sudipto Sen film “are supporters of terrorists and Islamic State“.
In his speech, Thakur urged people to raise their voice against the conversion of Hindu women in the country.
Thakur also hit out at “previous governments” for teaching “wrong history”. He said the Centre will “rectify” this and “the change will reflect in NCERT books soon”.
“Our young generations will soon question the previous governments as to why they were taught wrong history, given the changes they are going to see in the coming time… Our efforts will continue despite opposition. The immortal sacrifices of true heroes of India are now getting their rightful place in our history books,” he said.
