Shiddat, a romantic drama directed by Kunal Deshmukh, featuring Sunny Kaushal, Radhika Madan, Mohit Raina, and Diana Penty, was released directly on digital in 2021 and received a positive response from the audience. The makers have recently announced a sequel titled Shiddat 2, which is scheduled to release on digital platforms in 2024, similar to the first part.
At the star-studded event on Wednesday, the makers of the film officially announced Shiddat 2. As per reports, Sunny Kaushal will reprise his role of Jaggi. It is not yet confirmed whether Radhika Madan will be a part of the sequel, but Parineeti Chopra has been announced as the latest addition to the cast and crew of Shiddat’s sequel.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sunny Kaushal was last seen in the OTT heist thriller Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga alongside Yami Gautam. The film was released on March 24 and has garnered overwhelmingly positive reviews, with accolades focused on its direction, screenplay, and the cast’s performances.
Parineeti Chopra will next be seen in Imtiaz Ali’s Chamkila with Diljeet Dosanjh. She will also appear in Capsule Gill opposite Akshay Kumar.
