Pathaan is making noise all over for the right reasons becoming a historical hit within just two days of its release. Shah Rukh Khan is dancing to the success of his big-screen comeback alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. Helmed by Siddharth Anand the action flick emerged as the biggest blockbuster in Hindi films. Not just that it has shattered many records beating other movies and creating its own benchmarks.
Yash Raj Films Pathaan has collected 113.6 crores gross on day 2 after crossing 50 crores on opening day. The worldwide collection of Pathaan is an astronomical 219.6 crore gross. On day 2, in the Hindi belt, the Shah Rukh Khan starter has collected 68 crore net while for dubbed versions it has earned 2.5 crore nett. 70.50 crore nett (82.94 crore gross) was recorded as the total collection of Pathaan on second day. Becoming the first hindi film to earn 70 crore nett collection in a single day it also collected an incredibly 30.70 crore gross overseas. On second day Pathaan created another history defeating its own record. On opening day the film netted a total of 57 crore which comprises of 55 crore in Hindi format and 2 crore in dubbed formats.
CEO of Yash Raj Films, Akshaye Widhani is rejoicing today as in industry says it is the most important sentiment emerging out of Pathaan’s success. YRF is grateful for the support they have received from media, audiences and the industry towards Pathaan. He says the film has shattered all existing records creating new ones because of unanimous love the film has received. YRF is happy that the film has entertained everyone in an immersive manner. He further added that he shares this moment with the entire Pathaan team including actors and directors and those who has worked in making the film a gigantic success story.
