The year 2023 belongs to Shah Rukh Khan, not only did he return to the big screen after a gap of 4 years with Pathaan. He showed everyone why he is called the Badshah of Bollywood. Both his releases this year, Pathaan and Jawan, have gone on to become the biggest blockbusters not only of Hindi Cinema but of Indian Cinema. And on the occasion of his 58th birthday, the actor has given a small gift to his fans by dropping his latest release Jawan on Netflix.
Speaking about the release of Jawan on Netflix on his birthday, Shah Rukh Khan said, “I’m absolutely thrilled that Jawan is now streaming worldwide on Netflix, in its uncut, extended version! Jawan’s journey from script to screen has been nothing short of phenomenal and I can’t wait for fans around the world to watch Jawan with their families. Here’s to our labour of love leaving its mark across the globe and to more exciting adventures in the world of cinema!”

Jawan is by far the biggest hit of Indian cinema, it has already earned Rs 639.75 crore nett in India and its worldwide collection stands at Rs 1148 crore. At one point Gadar 2 had become the highest grossing film of Indian cinema but overnight Jawan displaced it from that position and took a spot at the top of the table.
Post the success of the movie, Shah Rukh Khan held a press conference and spoke about the humongous numbers the film has been collecting. He had said, “It’s a celebration. We rarely get a chance to live with a film for years. The making of Jawan has been going on for four years due to Covid and time constraints. There were a lot of people involved in this film, especially people from the South who came and settled in Mumbai and have been living in Mumbai for the last four years and working day and night for this film, which is the hardest work ever.”
