Sanjana Sanghi, who made her big Bollywood debut with Mukesh Chhabra‘s debut directorial, ‘Dil Bechara‘, opposite Sushant Singh Rajput, recently opened up about people he idolises in Bollywood and her idea of an ideal man.
In a recent Filmfare interview, Sanjana discussed her perspective on the film industry, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a life beyond films.While expressing her admiration for Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Anushka Sharma, who have openly addressed the challenges, Sanjana highlighted the industry’s tendency to glorify workaholism. She pointed out the potential toll on health and stressed the significance of investing in a life beyond films to enhance one’s artistry.

Discussing her views on love, she expressed her belief in love at first sight, considering herself a hopeless romantic. She credited her parents for this perspective, as they fell in love at a young age and exclusively dated each other before marrying early. Growing up with a romanticized view of finding one’s true love and soulmate from the start, she acknowledged, at 27, that love is more than just attraction; it entails significant sacrifice and commitment.

She was asked about the qualities she looks for in a man, and she shared that everyone has a type, a commonality among the people they date. She emphasized the importance of feeling safe with the person she’s with, stating that without that sense of security, there wouldn’t be a second date, regardless of the person’s success or good looks.
