Saira Banu makes Instagram debut, pens emotional note on Dilip Kumar’s death anniversary

Late actor Dilip Kumar’s wife Saira Banu made her Instagram debut on July 7 which marks the legendary actor’s second death anniversary. Saira took to her handle to share some rare photos and penned a long emotional note.

She wrote, “This is the day, ‘7th of July’ at ‘7 am’ when time stood still and my loved one slid into a deep slumber. I pleaded with the Almighty that, ‘Sahib’, as I always called him, should react to one of his favourite couplets.”

She further added, “Till this day, I feel he is with me and no matter what, we will still walk the path of life together, hand in hand, one in our thoughts and being until the end of time.

Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu tied the knot on October 11, 1966. Saira had proposed to Kumar. She was 22 at the time while he was 44.

Dilip Kumar passed away on July 7, 2021.
