A year after Ranveer Singh stirred up controversy with his nude photoshoot for a magazine, his image has once again caused a buzz on social media. Fans of the Bollywood heartthrob noticed his infamous photoshoot picture featured on the cover of singer Sufjan Steven’s song ‘Goodbye Evergreen‘ from his latest album, ‘Javelin.’
“Didn’t expect to see Ranveer Singh in the thumbnail of Goodbye Evergreen by Sufjan Stevens,” commented a fan, sharing a screenshot of the album artwork.
Interestingly, the photo not only appears in the lyrical video but also serves as a backdrop for the track. Although Ranveer’s face is not clearly visible, there is no doubt that the picture in question is from the actor’s 2022 photoshoot.

Singh’s photoshoot became a hot topic of discussion after he posed nude for the cover of Paper magazine, paying homage to Burt Reynolds’ iconic 1972 shoot for Cosmopolitan magazine. Although Singh strategically covered his modesty, it was not enough to shield him from the legal drama that unfolded shortly after the photos were posted online.
The actor was summoned for questioning by the police following a complaint of obscenity filed by an NGO and women’s rights activist Vedika Chaube. Ranveer was charged under Indian Penal Code Section 292, 293, 509, and the IT Act, which pertain to the sale of obscene materials, providing obscene objects to young people, words, gestures, or acts intended to insult the modesty of a woman, and other related offenses, based on the NGO and Chaube’s complaint. After an investigation, reports claimed that the images in question were morphed and not the original ones featured in the magazine.
