Aadhaar Card details update: The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) is advising Aadhaar cardholders to update their identity and address details for smoother living, improved services, and precise authentication. It’s important for Aadhaar holders to submit recent documents to ensure accuracy. UIDAI is urging those who haven’t updated their details in the last 10 years to do so now.
UIDAI is offering free document submissions on the myAadhaar portal until March 14 to make the process easier and more accessible.
Aadhaar is a 12-digit identity number for Indian residents, obtained using their biometric and demographic details. It’s linked to biometric data, with the aim to make it impossible for residents to have duplicate numbers. Residents’ Aadhaar numbers are unique to their biometrics, reducing the risk of fraud and fake identities.
