Kriti Sanon and Kanika Dhillon meet Chief Minister of Uttarakhand while shooting for their film ‘Do Patti’

Kriti Sanon and Kanika Dhillon have collaborated to co-produce a film together. Kriti recently announced that she has turned producer and launched her company Blue Butterfly Films. Meanwhile, writer Kanika Dhillon has also turned producer and her company Katha Pictures has collaborated with Kriti to co-produce a film called ‘Do Patti‘. It stars Kajol alongside Kriti.
The shoot has begun five weeks ago, as it was shared by the team on social media. ‘Do Patti’ is being shot in Uttarakhand and Kanika along with Kriti met the Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. Kanika shared these pictures and expressed gratitude to the CM. She wrote, “Expressing my gratitude to the Chief Minister of #Uttarakhand @pushkarsinghdhami.uk and his wife Geeta Ji. The government’s outstanding support in transforming this state into a top-notch filming location. Uttarakhand’s natural beauty and cooperative environment make it a filmmaker’s paradise! 🌟🎬”

The film is directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi (BOB). ‘Do Pati’ is a suspense thriller set in North India and promises to hold a lot of mystery and intrigue. But it’s this team coming together which raises the curiousity of people. Kanika is known for her writing in movies like ‘Manmarziyaan’, ‘Haseen Dilruba’ among others and ‘Do Patti’ is also written by her.
The film also stars Tanvi Azmi who Kajol shared screen space with in ‘Tribhanga’ and ‘Dushman’. Kajol had shared a picture with Azmi on the first day of shoot and said, “She wrote that mother and daughter are back in another movie but killing it.”
Meanwhile, apart from ‘Do Patti’, Kriti is also currently shooting for ‘The Crew’.
