After marrying José Bastón in Mexico on May 21, 2016, Eva Longoria became a stepmother to José’s three older kids, Natalia, Mariana, and José. Then, two years after saying “I do,” the star alum welcomed her first child, a boy named Santiago, with José.
Since then, the family has shared many sweet moments with the world. Back in April, Longoria — who stars in “Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe” this September — opened up about her approach to teaching her child about food. “I want his relationship to food to be very healthy,” she told News JoJo, saying that she doesn’t label foods as “good” or “bad” when talking to her tot.
While introducing her newborn on social media back in 2016, the new mom used her announcement post to support children who were being separated from their families at the US-Mexico border. “Thank you everyone for showering my baby boy with all your warm wishes!” Longoria wrote at the time. “In light of my son’s birth I wanted to bring focus on the families that have been separated at the border. Having my son next to me, I cannot imagine him being taken from my arms. Families belong together which is why we must do what we can to reunite them. That’s why I am supporting @raicestexas and @aclu_nationwide to help fund legal services for separated families . . . #KeepFamiliesTogether.”
