Eva Longoria Says She's Looking For Her Next Movie To Direct Following 'Flamin' Hot's White House Screening

The 48-year-old director and actress wore a bright orange dress for the White House screening of her new movie, Flamin’ Hot, on Thursday evening (June 15) in Washington, D.C.
Just before the screening, Eva opened up about looking for her next project.

Talking to Variety, she shared that after the press tour for Flamin’ Hot concludes, she’s “going to sleep for about three months, [and] when I come up for air, I hopefully will know what I’m doing next.”
Eva added that “it’s been very difficult. I’ve been sent many scripts already. I’ve been reading so much, but there’s nothing so far that has sparked in me the intense passion that I had for telling this particular story.”
“I was asking my agent, ‘Do I have to feel this way about every story I want to direct? Because I haven’t felt it yet,’” she said. “He said that should be the bar.”
Earlier in the week, Eva was spotted arriving at several interviews and seen at another screening in New York City with stars of the movie, Annie Gonzalez and Jesse Garcia.
Just recently, Eva opened up about the possibility of a Desperate Housewives reboot.
