‘Dunki’ box office collection day 10: The Shah Rukh Khan starrer sees a slight growth on its second Saturday | Hindi Movie News

Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dunki’ released on December 21, and this was Shah Rukh Khan’s third release of the year after ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan’ which proved to be blockbusters. The opening and the consecutive collections of the film have been decent. Though, it can’t be called a flop, the numbers are considered less considering the big names attached to the movie. However, ‘Dunki’ didn’t fall in the same category of ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan’, which were those larger-than-life big screen actioners.
Dunki had a decent opening weekened which was longer considering the Christmas holiday and now on its second Saturday, it saw a slight growth than Friday.On Friday, ‘Dunki’ had made around Rs 7 crore in all languages. On Saturday, as per Sacnilk.com, ‘Dunki’ will be making Rs 9.25 crore as per early estimates. With that, the total collection of the movie so far in all languages, in India, is Rs 176 crore nett. It can be expected to touch a lifetime collection of Rs 200 crore. But Sunday, which is December 31 and New Years’ eve will be a big deciding factor for the same.
There are no big ticket movies releasing till ‘Fighter’ hits the screens on January 25, 2024. Hence, till then, SRK’s ‘Dunki’ and Prashanth Neel’s ‘Salaar‘ will get more time and space in the theatres. Meanwhile, Prabhas starrer ‘Salaar’ is holding better than ‘Dunki’ and the film has crossed Rs 300 crore nett in India.
‘Dunki’ also stars Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani and Vicky Kaushal alongside Shah Rukh.
