Did Ranbir Kapoor confirm Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda’s relationship?

Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda’s dating rumours have been making news lately. During a recent promotional event for her film Animal, Ranbir Kapoor seemingly confirmed their relationship. Ranbir and Rashmika along with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, appeared on a talk show hosted by actor Nandamuri Balakrishna.

During the show, a segment featured the film posters of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial works, Arjun Reddy and Animal. This led to a discussion about Vijay Deverakonda. Nandamuri Balakrishna asked Sandeep and Rashmika to choose between Arjun Reddy and Animal. Ranbir Kapoor playfully teased Rashmika by asking her to decide who she thought was a better actor – her “reel hero” (referring to himself) or her “real hero” (referring to Vijay).

Rashmika declined to participate, so Nandamuri asked Sandeep to call Vijay. However, the call went unanswered. Ranbir then jokingly commented, “Sir, let Rashmika call, Vijay won’t pick (Sandeep’s) call,” leaving Rashmika blushing.

Ranbir requested Rashmika’s phone on the set and asked her to call Vijay. However, Vijay didn’t answer her call. Later, Vijay called Sandeep back.

After Sandeep and Vijay exchanged greetings, Rashmika took the phone and said “Hello”. Vijay greeted her with “What’s up, re?” which made Rashmika blush. She responded politely and also informed Vijay that he was on speaker.

Ranbir playfully mentioned, “Vijay, Bala sir is getting jealous,” to which Vijay responded, “Bala sir loves Rashmika.” Balakrishna and Rashmika asked Vijay who he loved, and Vijay jokingly named Sandeep Reddy Vanga, causing everyone to burst into laughter.

Ranbir then informed Vijay that Rashmika was asked to choose between the posters of Arjun Reddy and Animal. Rashmika responded, “I watched Arjun Reddy on the first day of its release, so I have a connection with Arjun Reddy, and Animal is my film, so I like both of them.”

Ranbir further shared that Sandeep coincidently met Rashmika for the first time at Arjun Reddy’s success party on Vijay’s terrace which left Rashmika speechless.

After ending the call, Ranbir further teased Rashmika and said, “So much natural blush came.”

Meanwhile, Animal also stars Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles and is slated to hit the cinemas on December 1, 2023.
