Alia Bhatt joins the “crushmika club,” lauds Rashmika Mandanna and Ranbir Kapoor in Animal

Alia Bhatt took to social media over the weekend to pen a heartfelt note praising her husband, actor Ranbir Kapoor, and the entire Animal cast and crew for their remarkable performances in the film. She also expressed her newfound admiration for Rashmika Mandanna’s performance, joining the “crushmika club” after witnessing her act in the action-packed movie. Rashmika, in turn, responded warmly, showing nothing but love for Alia.

Alia shared glimpses of Ranbir in an Instagram post, showcasing him interacting with fans and reading stories to their daughter, Raha. In her Instagram Stories, she commended Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s direction, describing the film as delivering “goosebumps and iconic imagery for days.”

In a special note for Rashmika, Alia expressed, “Rashmika Mandanna, you are so so so beautiful and authentic in the film! As I mentioned in person… I adored your performance in that scene – it was incredibly special and inspiring. Fully embracing the ‘crushmika’ club :)”

Rashmika couldn’t contain her joy, sharing Alia’s note on her Instagram Stories and responding, “Alia Bhatt. Big big hugs ya. Love youuuuu!”

Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, hit theatres this past Friday. The film features Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol in leading roles. Ranbir portrays Ravijay Singh, a man obsessed with seeking validation from his affluent and occupied father, Balbir Singh. His life takes a drastic turn after his father survives an assassination attempt, leading him on a quest for vengeance against the assailants.
