Oscar-winning composer and singer AR Rahman has created a new definition of music throughout his career. The singer, who is known as one of the richest composers, hosted a Hare Krishna kirtan at his residence in Dubai.
In the video, AR Rahman can be seen recording the moment while busy singing devotional songs dedicated to Lord Krishna. He is seen smiling and gently moving his head to the melodious tune of the bhajan.The large gathering of people can probably be seen at his house.

A few days ago, the music composer was criticised on social media for releasing and promoting the film during the floods in Chennai caused by Cyclone Michaung. Recently, he was also embroiled in yet another controversy since the release of the film ‘Pippa’.
Recently, Cyclone Michaung destroyed coastal towns in southern India with fierce winds and rain, killing at least 13 people. The severe-category cyclone made landfall near Bapatla in Andhra Pradesh. Meanwhile, the timing of AR Rahman promoting the song amid the crisis has caused anger on the internet.
The singer was previously criticised for using a rendition of Bengali poet Kazi Nazrul Islam‘s patriotic song ‘Karar Oi Louho Kopat’ in the film ‘Pippa’. The producers apologised and clarified that this was an artistic interpretation and that they had received all necessary rights from the estate of the late Mr. Kazi Nazrul Islam.
