NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the role of youth as the architects of a developed India while addressing the annual NCC-PM rally. He also assured the young audience that a developed India would fulfill their aspirations. “You are the architect of a developed India,” PM Modi added.
PM Modi highlighted the government’s initiatives that have expanded opportunities for women, including the armed forces. The Republic Day parade this year was dedicated to celebrating the achievements of women, with a notable increase in their presence in central security forces over the last decade.
“When the country gives equal opportunity to the talent of sons and daughters, its talent pool becomes enormous,” Modi said.
The Prime Minister also acknowledged the digital revolution, stating that the youth benefit the most from this transformation. Reflecting on the progress from 2G and 3G to the current widespread availability of 5G and optical fiber networks in villages.
PM Modi further proudly announced India’s as the third-largest start-up ecosystem globally, with over 1.25 lakh start-ups and more than 100 unicorns. He emphasized that the digital economy would become the defining strength and identity of India’s young population.
Modi expressed the government’s dedication to making India a developed nation in the next 25 years, stressing that the biggest beneficiaries would be the current generation of students.
Concluding his address, Modi commended the NCC cadets for embodying the spirit of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat” and emphasized the rally’s contribution to the vision of “One World, One Family, One Future.”
