Sidharth Malhotra‘s latest action-packed venture ‘Yodha‘, witnessed a surge in box office numbers on its third day at the box office. However, despite the good growth, the film narrowly missed crossing the Rs 20 crore mark by the end of its opening weekend.
According to early estimates reported by Sacnilk.com, ‘Yodha’ garnered approximately Rs 7 crore on Sunday.The film kicked off its box office journey with a decent opening day collection of Rs 4.1 crore. Building on this momentum, it further amassed Rs 5.75 crore on Saturday, before concluding the weekend with an estimated total collection of Rs 16.85 crore.
On Sunday, the film boasted an overall 23.29% Hindi occupancy, marking a notable increase in audience turnout. There was a significant surge in footfalls during the night shows.One contributing factor to the rise in ticket sales was the introduction of the #Buy1Get1 ticket offer, which proved to be a significant draw for moviegoers and played a role in boosting the film’s box office performance.
Directed by the debutant duo of Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, ‘Yodha’ promises a gripping narrative centred around Arun Katyal, the commanding officer of the elite Yodha Task Force. The high-octane action thriller follows Katyal on a daring rescue mission, offering audiences a thrilling cinematic experience.
