Ranbir Kapoor is basking on the success of his recently released film, ‘Animal’. The film has reportedly also beat Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ with its first Monday collection at the box office.
While the actor indirectly is competing with the Khans in Bollywood, Ranbir had once admitted that he could never be in their league. In 2013, during the promotional activities for his film ‘Besharam,’ Ranbir Kapoor humbly acknowledged his position in the film industry by stating, “I can never compete with the Khans (Shah Rukh, Salman, Aamir)…they are the true superstars.”

In this candid admission, Ranbir recognized the immense stature and influence of Bollywood’s legendary Khans, expressing a respectful acknowledgment of their status as iconic figures in the Indian film fraternity.

In an interview with India Today, Sandeep Reddy Vanga expressed his immense admiration for Shah Rukh Khan (SRK), acknowledging himself as a huge fan of the Bollywood icon. The filmmaker further disclosed that the entire team involved in the making of ‘Animal’ collectively attended a screening of ‘Pathaan’ while they were in the midst of shooting for their own film. Additionally, Vanga candidly admitted to having watched SRK’s previous release, ‘Jawan.’ Reflecting on his aspirations, he openly stated that if given the opportunity, he would eagerly embrace the chance to collaborate with Shah Rukh Khan in the future. This revelation adds an element of excitement and anticipation for fans, hinting at a potential collaboration between Vanga and SRK down the line.

‘Animal’ also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna and Triptii Dimri in lead roles. The film has been doing record-breaking business at the box office.
