Prime Minister Modi on Wednesday said that the “We The People” spirit of the Indian constitution as enshrined in its Preamble is central to the functioning of his government.
“Our all decisions are taken to make people realise that the government is sincere about their welfare. We have tried to ensure that the confidence and self-respect of every citizen get a boost. This spirit is the expectation of the Constitution and we are committed to acting in its accordance,” the PM said in his message at the 83rd All India Presiding Officers’ Conference.
