Vishal Bhardwaj thought his film Kaminey won’t work due to conflicts on the sets

Vishal Bhardwaj said he can usually predict the success of his films during shooting, but Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Shahid Kapoor starrer Kaminey was an exception.

During an interview on the YouTube channel, Vishal admitted that while making a film, he sometimes misjudges its potential success. However, he was pleasantly surprised by the positive response to Kaminey, despite the conflicts that arose during production.

The Director of Photography (DOP) clashed with both the cast and production team, while the production designer also faced challenges. Vishal described the chaos on set as being at an entirely different level and having to deal with new problems every day.

Vishal Bhardwaj’s Kaminey, starring Shahid Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, and Amole Gupte, is a film set in Mumbai’s underworld. It tells the story of twin brothers with speech impairments and their enmity over a single day. The film was a big hit with both audiences and critics.
