Tamil-language action thriller Leo starring Vijay is having a successful run at the box offices, globally. The film which is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj reportedly beat Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon.
As per reports on a leading news portal, Leo raked in $48.5 million worldwide, ranking higher than the Leonardi DiCaprio starrer Killers of the Flower Moon. The latter amassed $44 million.
Leo is the latest instalment in director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s cinematic universe following Kaithi and Vikram. The film also features Trisha Krishnan, Sanjay Dutt and others.
Killers of the Flower Moon is a historical drama that revolves around a series of murders that took place in the Osage nation in the early 1920s. The film also features Robert De Niro, Lily Gladstone and others.
