The couple was spotted together at a New Year’s party in Goa when people started assuming a relationship between them. This sparked when the duo announced their collaboration in an OTT series, ‘Lust Stories 2’. Now, Vijay made it clear that they did not start dating while sharing the screen together for the show.

While talking to Tanmay Bhat on a YouTube channel, Vijay said that ‘Lust Stories 2’ is just a cupid for them but the real-life love story started later. They were planning to have a wrap party but it never happened. Only four people showed up to their planned wrap-up party, and that day he felt and told her that he wanted to hang out more with her. It took 20-25 days for the first date to happen after the party.

Tamannaah opened up about her relationship with Vijay in an interview with Film Companion. She called it very organic. According to her, Vijay approached her with all his guard down, and it made things very easy for her to put all her guard down. Tamannaah called him her happy place, who cares deeply.
On the work front, Vijay was last seen in ‘Murder Mubarak’ and is gearing up for ‘Mirzapur 3’, ‘Ul Jalool Ishq’, and ‘Matka King’. Tamannaah will be next seen in ‘Aranmanai 4’ and ‘Vedaa’.
