With big-name actors like Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha, and now Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vijay Varma is experiencing one of the most successful periods of his career. In a recent interview on Shehnaaz Gill’s chat show, the actor spoke candidly about his experience working with Kareena. She is not only a fantastic actor, but also quite confident, according to him. Kareena stated during the press conference for the movie that while she was working with Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat, her husband Saif Ali Khan advised her to pull up her socks.
Vijay continued by saying that when she speaks well of them, he and Jaideep both become shy. He said that they had watched her films and been smitten by her.
In the movie, Vijay also appears in a few romantic scenes with Kareena, and the actor found it quite difficult to perform those scenes. According to Vijay, there is a sequence in which Kareena is singing while looking at him in a particular way, and when that scene occurred, he became quite nervous.
Kareena is really endearing and possesses a certain appeal, which Vijay also emphasised. He also disclosed that he and Jaideep call one another “Bebo ke Babies” as part of their inside joke.
On September 21st, Sujoy Ghosh’s film Jaane Jaan will be released on OTT.
