Unemployment: BJP hits back: ‘Rahul Gandhi always talks trash’ | India News

NEW DELHI: BJP on Saturday accused Congress and other ‘INDIA’ bloc constituents of indulging in “petty politics” over the December 13 Parliament security breach incident to shield those involved in it.”We all know that the incident was unfortunate. But using it as a political opportunity also reflects how leaders like Rahul Gandhi are pathetically placed,” said BJP’s chief spokesperson and Rajya Sabha MP Anil Baluni.
Baluni said Rahul has exhausted all his options to question the Modi government and now stooping to low levels to prove his relevance. “We have seen similar incidents in the past. But all parties realised the sensitivity of such a situation and responded accordingly. However, Congress under Gandhi family sees any crisis as an opportunity,” he said.
At a press conference, the party’s national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla alleged that the opposition ‘INDIA’ bloc parties are standing by the perpetrators of the security breach as their links with them were emerging. The BJP leader said Rahul has “shamefully” justified the December 13 incident, by saying that it happened because of unemployment and the issue of price rise in the country.
Poonawalla asked whether Rahul implied that if someone felt there was unemployment in the country or if a person was not getting a job, then such a person should enter Parliament with a canister and release smoke.
BJP’s IT department head Amit Malviya said, “Rahul never disappoints; always talks trash. For the record, unemployment in India is at 3.2%, the lowest in six years.”
