Tripura Exit poll 2023: BJP wins; Congress-Left alliance to be distant second |

NEW DELHI: The BJP is all set to beat anti-incumbency and retain power in Tripura winning 36 to 45 seats with a vote share of 45% in the 60-member assembly, according to tripura exit poll predictions by Axis-MyIndia-India Today.
The Congress and the Left, which formed an alliance in the state, will manage to win only 6 to 11 seats with a vote share of 32%.
If the poll predictions prove true, the BJP, which won 33 seats in 2018, will improve its performance in the state.
The Tripura Motha is predicted to win 9 to 16 seats with a vote share of 20%.
Led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP led a very strong campaign in the three northeast states of Tripura, Nagaland and Meghalaya.
