Fans go to great extent for their favourite actors and often hit headlines for their quirky ways. A few years back a female fan of Sanjay Dutt had willed her entire property to the actor before her demise.

In 2018, Dutt received a phone call wherein cops informed him that a female fan named Nisha Patil had passed away a fortnight ago and left her entire property to him. She had reportedly written numerous letters to the bank, asking to give everything to the actor. Nisha Patil had reportedly willed all her belongings worth Rs 72 crore to Sanjay Dutt.

On his part, the actor made it clear that the belonging should be given to the family. According to the bank, Sanjay Dutt’s name was mentioned as her nominee and his Pali Hill residence was mentioned in the bank details. Commenting on the same, Sanjay Dutt had said in a statement, “As actors, we are used to fans naming their children after us, chasing us down the street and even giving us gifts. But this has shocked me. I will not be claiming anything. I did not know Nisha and I am very overwhelmed by the entire incident to speak about it”. His attorney had further confirmed, “We have communicated that Sanjay Dutt will be seeking no claim on the belongings and will adhere to any legal proceedings necessary to transfer the valuables back to the family.”
