The Week in Drag – Jaymes Mansfield’s anime wig transformation & more – News JoJo

[ad_1]

Hello, hello, hello! It’s that time again – and we have news, videos and updates from some of your favorite queens from the worldwide Drag Race universe.

This week, we got to know more about the first queen eliminated on season 5 of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK (and after watching her interviews, I’m even sadder to see her go.) Our wallets are also aching after Trixie Mattel released yet another craveable makeup collection.

Speaking of makeup, Delta Work transformed into a truly terrifying character for the latest episode of her talk show (with a crowned champion as a special guest.) There’s lots of stuff to cover, so let’s bring it to the runway!

Last week, we said farewell to the first queen of Drag Race UK season 5 after a challenge where the queens had to create a look from pet accessories. Kennedy Davenport, Lawrence Chaney, Cheryl Hole and Blu Hydrangea watch, comment and react to the episode on the latest episode of “Binge Queens.” Get a sneak peek here and subscribe to WOW Presents Plus so you don’t miss a thing.

Cheryl Hole and Blu Hydrangea toot and boot the runway looks from the pet-themed runway.

The series’ first contestant from Poland, the stunning Alexis Saint-Pete, was the first to sashay away and she discusses her experience and doles out superlatives to her fellow queens with   Yshee Black on “Drag Race Yearbook.”

Alexis also chats with one of my face UK queens, season three runner-up Ella Vaday, on “Tea Time.”

Danny Beard chats with this week’s eliminated drag Race UK queen on “The After Shave” (I haven’t seen the episode yet, so I am keeping this spoiler-free.)

The queens are celebrating spooky season in a big way, and Delta Work is no exception. On the latest, Halloween-themed episode of “Very Delta”, our season 4 queen channels a classic Twilight Zone character that traumatized many a child (okay, maybe just me) and welcomes season three champion Raja as her special guest.

Another Halloween queen, Jaymes Mansfield, transforms a truly frightening “cosplay” wig from Five Below into a costume centerpiece. Watch as she turns this tragic hairpiece that’s trying to give anime vives into a cool “punk rock businesswoman” look.

If you’re an early Christmas shopper or just really love makeup (guilty), Trixie Mattel is back with a new collection of cosmetics. This week, she released her “Horse Girl” collection with a stunning eyeshadow palette, blush and accessories. Get ‘em while you can on the Trixie Cosmetics website.

It’s the “horny” episode of Willam’s “Beatdown” and we’ve got a steamy Dallas dance-off, a lady into some unusual sexual activities, and a very meth-y young lady.

Mo Heart is back with more interviews from DragCon on her series “After the Race”. This time, she kikis with queens, including Jasmine Masters, Denail, Dahlia Sin, Jiggly Caliente and our beloved Honey Davenport.

Comedy queen Darienne Lake is Maddy Morphsis’ guest on the latest episode of “Give It to Me Straight.”

Bob and Monét are still talking about every US Ru Girl on “Sibling Rivalry” (as well as underwear and other random topics.) On this episode, they start with season 4 and keep going from there (and to an inevitable part 3, because these two have a lot to say – and I’m here for all of it.)

No Gorge is back! Violet Chachki and Gottmik are back for a third season of fashion, gossip, and lots more.

National Coming Out Day was this past week (October 11), and on her new web series, Robin Fierce and Salina EsTittites share their coming out stories.

Laganja Estranja is a busy queen and in her latest “Day in the Life” vlog, she takes us behind the scenes of the Drag Isn’t Dangerous telethon, brings us along as she gets glamified and takes us to a Missy Elliott concert.

And that’s a wrap on this week. Until next week, as always, stay healthy, stay safe, support the queens and say LOVE!
