The gangster drama Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has been one of the most highly awaited films ever since its announcement.
According to the most recent sources, the producers are currently working nonstop to release the Animal teaser late this month, on September 28, Ranbir’s birthday. Before it premieres on December 1 this year, the movie will have a lengthy two-month promotional campaign. The crew will release another item to commemorate Ranbir’s special day if the teaser isn’t finalised.
A source was quoted, “It’s work in progress on the teaser front and the idea is to bring it out on RK’s birthday. While a rough cut is already locked, it’s sent for polishing the post production department. If the teaser is locked, which most likely will be, the team will treat all the fans with an epic teaser on Ranbir’s birthday. If not for a teaser, the idea is definitely to bring out some other asset like a poster, motion poster or something else none would expect.”
Animal also stars Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Triptii Dimri, and Rashmika Mandanna in significant roles in addition to the Sanju actor. Prior to being delayed owing to post-production issues, Animal was originally scheduled to hit theatres on August 11 alongside Sunny Deol’s patriotic drama Gadar 2 and Akshay Kumar’s satirical comedy OMG 2.
