Teachers’ Day: When Bollywood actors fondly remembered their parents as their best teachers

Abhishek Bachchan stated that his parents, Jaya Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan, serve as both his mentor and his support system. “In our life, many people come and teach us valuable lessons, but our Mom and Dad are our first gurus, lasting till the end. For me, my Maa and Paa are my support system,” he said.

“I have had quite a few who have had a considerable impact on my life. But I would regard my dad as my greatest guru. His experiences in life taught me a number of things,” Amitabh Bachchan said.

For Bollywood actor Vaani Kapoor, her entire family is her best teacher. “My family wears multiple hats like second nature and have always supported and encouraged me to follow my dreams. They’ve guided me, steered me towards my goals remaining unflinching and uncompromising in our value system. I couldn’t ask for a better teacher and I’m grateful to them to have taught me the right lessons in life,” she said on Teachers’ Day.
