Aditya Kashyap in Jab We Met is perhaps Shahid Kapoor’s most memorable role. The film directed by Imtiaz Ali which also sees Kareena Kapoor in the lead role remains a fan-favourite. And now, it looks like the actor and director will work together again.
In a recent Twitter interaction, Shahid Kapoor was asked if he will work with Imtiaz Ali again. To this, the Kabir Singh actor simply replied “Smart boy”.

Fans are reading into the response and wondering if Shahid Kapoor and Imtiaz Ali will indeed reunite all these years after the 2007 film.
Jab We Met was recently re-released in theatres. Shahid Kapoor crashed a screening to surprise fans in a packed theatre.
The romantic film that revolves around a woman who bumps into a man on a train journey also features Tarun Arora, Dara Singh, Saumya Tandon and others. It also won Shahid the Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male) award at the Filmfare Awards while Kareena Kapoor won Best Actor in a Leading Role (Female).
Shahid Kapoor was last seen in Bloody Daddy. Meanwhile, Imtiaz Ali is set to release Chamkila starring Parineeti Chopra and Diljit Dosanjh.
