Shah Rukh Khan and his daughter Suhana Khan are both super excited for their upcoming films. While SRK’s ‘Jawan‘ will hit the theatres on September 7, Suhana’s debut film, ‘The Archies‘ will release on December 7.
Amidst this, reports are rife that SRK and Suhana will be playing a special role in Sujoy Ghosh‘s next thriller. Earlier it was revealed that Sujoy is set to direct his new film starring Suhana and SRK.Now, according to a report in India Today, the superstar’s role in the film will not be limited to being a cameo. In fact, it will be an extended role, similar to what he played in ‘Dear Zindagi’. His role reportedly helps Suhana’s character in the movie.

Elaborating further, the report also added that Sujoy’s film will be a spy thriller with Suhana taking on the lead role as a spy. As every spy needs a handler, it will be none other than Shah Rukh Khan! The pre-production for the movie is already in the works.

This is not the first time Sujoy and Shah Rukh will be collaborating for a project. Earlier, they came together for ‘Badla’ which starred Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ is directed by Atlee and also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles. The film also features actors like Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra and Ridhi Dogra in supporting roles. The makers have also roped in Deepika Padukone, Sanjay Dutt and Thalapathy Vijay in special cameos. It is slated to hit the theatres on September 7, 2023.

Suhana, on the other hand, will be debuting with the Zoya Akhtar directorial. It also marks the debut of Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda and Boney Kapoor’s younger daughter Khushi Kapoor. The film is an official adaptation of the popular comics of the same name. It will be released on an OTT platform on December 7, 2023.
