Shah Rukh Khan: Aanjjan Srivastav recalls when Shah Rukh Khan was overjoyed to play a minor role in the TV show ‘Wagle Ki Duniya’

As we know, Shah Rukh Khan struggled a lot before becoming the King of Romance in the industry. Recently, Aanjjan Srivastav recalled when SRK was offered a minor role in one of the episodes of the TV show ‘Wagle Ki Duniya’.
Shah Rukh entered Bollywood in 1992 with the film ‘Deewana’. Before making his big-screen debut, he appeared in several TV shows like ‘Fauji’, ‘Circus’, ‘Doosra Keval’, ‘Idiot’, and many others.Since he was struggling, the actor got excited when he was offered a minor role in one of the episodes of ‘Wagle Ki Duniya’.
Reported in Pinkvilla, Aanjjan Srivastav said that SRK was offered a small role in ‘Wagle Ki Duniya’. He jumped on the offer and said, ‘I’ll do it; just tell me what to do.’ Srivastav continued that he didn’t want SRK to play that part. But when he shared screen space with him, he was in awe of his talent. Srivastav added that Shah Rukh was not a star at the time, and he had such a sportsman spirit.
Shah Rukh Khan started the year with one of the biggest hits, ‘Pathaan‘, and took over the box office. Later, he broke several records with the film ‘Jawan‘. The actor also made a special appearance in Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger 3’. Currently, he is gearing up for the release of his upcoming comedy movie, ‘Dunki’.
