“A probe committee was formed on the directions of the government, but the protesters did not wait for the probe to come to light and moved court with fresh allegations,” he said. “Why are they constantly speaking against PM Modi and the sports ministry?”
Singh added that he has submitted an audio clip to the probe committee in which, according to him, a man is heard speaking about “arranging a girl” to implicate him. The BJP MP told reporters he was apprehensive that Congress was behind the controversy and that it had been exposed. He asked why the wrestlers were still sitting on dharna when an FIR had been registered against him.
