Sandeep Rajora aka Madhav reacts to Shehzada Dhami, Pratiksha Honmukhe’s termination; says ‘There were issues’

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been running for 15 years now and it is still the most favourite TV show of everyone. The show has been in the news since a few days. Producer Rajan Shahi and team terminated two actors from the show recently. Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe were terminated from the show for their unprofessional behaviour. The official statement shared by the makers said that Shehzada misbehaved with the staff on the sets while Pratiksha was not good with her work. Reports said that Shehzada and Pratiksha were in a relationship and Pratiksha blindly followed Shehzada’s behaviour. They both reportedly spent a lot of time in the makeup room and delayed shoots.

It was also said that they wanted the director of the show to be changed. However, after bearing for a long time Rajan Shahi finally decided to remove them. Soon, the makers announced Rohit Purohit and Garvita Sadhwani as the new Armaan and Ruhi/Roohi.

Now, Sandeep Rajora who plays the role of Madhav Poddar has opened up about Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe’s termination. Sandeep said that it is unfortunate what happened and he hopes Shezhada and Pratiksha get over this set back and move positively in their careers with a lesson learnt.
He added, “There were issues which built overtime for Rajan ji to take such a big step. On DKP sets there is so much warmth and respect that it feels good to be working with them.”
He also spoke about Rohit and Garvita’s performance as Armaan and Ruhi. He shared that they both are very accomplished and he is sure they will soon fill the shoes of their characters very beautifully.
