Salman Khan’s security reviewed following another threat by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi | Hindi Movie News

Following another threat by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, the Mumbai Police on Tuesday have reviewed the security provided to Salman Khan and asked him to be alert.
A senior officer has confirmed the development following the threat and he was quoted as saying that a review was condicted of Salman’s security to ensure there are no loopholes. They have reached to Salmanand discussed a few things with regards to his security.The superstar is currently having Y plus security.
In the early hours of Sunday, Bishnoi claimed responsibility for the gunshots fired outside Gippy Grewal‘s Canada residence in a Facebook post. As per a report in India Today, the origin of the Facebook account has been traced to operations outside of India.

Addressing the incident, the post read, “You consider Salman Khan a brother, but now it’s time for your ‘brother’ to come and save you. This message is also for Salman Khan – don’t be in the illusion that Dawood will save you; no one can save you. Your dramatic response to Sidhu Moose Wala’s death did not go unnoticed. We all know the kind of person he was and the criminal associations he had… You’ve now landed on our radar. Consider this a trailer; the full film will be released soon. Flee to any country you wish, but remember, death doesn’t require a visa; it comes uninvited.”

Following the incident, Gippy said that he has no friendship with Salman and how the anger of it is being taken out on him. He said that he met Salman during the trailer launch of Maujaan Hi Maujaan since the film’s producer had invited him there and before that, he met Salman on Bigg Boss sets.
“This happened (early Sunday) around 12:30 am to 1 am. My house is in West Vancouver, the incident took place there. We cannot comprehend what has happened and why it has happened… When this incident happened, I was shocked because I have never faced any controversies before. I have no enmity with anyone so I couldn’t even think who could have been behind the attack,” Gippy told News 18.
Earlier in March, Salman had received threatening mail sent by Bishnoi’s gang member. The Mumbai Police beefed up his security outside Salman’s residence and also registered a case.
Bishnoi is currently behind bars in a drugs smuggling case investigated by the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
