Salma Hayek Explains Why She’s Hesitant About Appearing on ‘The White Lotus’ | Mike White, Salma Hayek Pinault, The White Lotus | Just Jared: Celebrity News and Gossip

Salma Hayek is addressing the possibility of appearing on The White Lotus.

In a new interview, the 56-year-old actress said that she would love to work with writer and producer Mike White again, but admitted she’s hesitant about appearing on the HBO series.

“Oh my god, I love him so much,” Salma shared on Kelly Ripa‘s SiriusXM Let’s Talk Off Camera podcast.

If you didn’t know, Salma and Mike previously worked together on 2017′s Beatriz at Dinner, which Mike wrote the screenplay for and Salma starred in.

“I would do anything with Mike. I have a fantasy of acting with Mike. We’re so good together,” Salma shared. “Oh, he’s a fantastic actor. We’re very funny together. He’s a very, very dear friend. I am obsessed with what he does with sound and how he combines it with images.”

However, Salma is a bit hesitant on taking a role on a TV series, including The White Lotus.

“It’s hard for me to do series because I’m still very present with my daughter [14-year-old Valentina] and my husband [François-Henri Pinault] and my dogs, and the house,” Salma explained “And so I can’t, even though I’m trying to carve out more space, I can’t like say, ‘OK, bye. I’m gonna do a series. See you in three months, in four months.’ I just can’t.”
