RZA is honored to share a name with Rihanna and A$AP Rocky‘s son.

A few months ago, it was confirmed that the couple had chosen to name their 14-month-old son RZA Athelston Mayers after the Wu Tang Clan rapper.

In an interview with CNN, RZA revealed how he felt about Rihanna and A$AP‘s decision.

“[It’s] a great honor to know that there’s another generation that’s not even of my own household that feels the strength and the inspiration of that name,” he told the outlet.

“RZA isn’t only a name, it’s a title,” he added. “So it’s an honor and I salute her and A$AP and their family. All the blessings in the world from me.”

Rihanna and A$AP are currently expecting their second child together. The “Love on the Brain” singer was recently spotted out and about in LA and you can see all the photos here.
