NEW DELHI: Rishikesh — which had emerged as one of the most sought after and priciest tariff destinations during Covid — is all set to get an ITC property, Storii Rishikesh, in the next two years. The holy town and nearby foothills have got a significant number of top luxury hotels. Apart from being a pilgrimage, Rishikesh is also the gateway to Garhwal and hence a major magnet for visitors.
ITC’s Hotel group has nine four across its various brands in Uttarakhand. Speaking about the upcoming 55-room riverfront property signing, ITC Hotels chief executive Anil Chadha said: “Storii by ITC Hotels is expanding its presence pan India. With brand Welcomhotel, Fortune and Welcomheritage already entrenched in this great land, we are looking forward to launch Storii Rishikesh in Uttarakhand.
