Randeep Hooda, who graced the pran pratishtha ceremony at Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22, recently revealed that he felt a surge of emotions alongside his wife Lin Laishram. He also expressed that being present for this historic moment was an experience that will leave an everlasting impact on him.
Speaking to Hindustan Times, Randeep Hooda expressed the spiritual and proud feelings he experienced as a participant in the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony. He described it as an overwhelming experience, especially witnessing the first sight of Ram Lalla and being present during the chanting of ‘Jai Shree Ram,’ accompanied by Indian Air Force helicopters dropping flowers over the entire ceremony.

Being in Ayodhya held special meaning for the 47-year-old actor, infusing him with renewed energy. He described the experience as great, positive, and all-encompassing.

The actor believes that the inauguration of the Ram Mandir carries immense cultural and spiritual significance. Reflecting on this, he expressed, “It’s a spiritual and cultural resurgence for our country, not only within India but worldwide. It reinstills a sense of pride in our heritage for all of us.”

As a seasoned actor, Hooda sees art and culture as integral components of events like the inauguration of the Ram Mandir. He explains that arts and culture constitute the foundation of any civilization. Such events, according to him, instill a renewed sense of pride in being part of an ancient, rich, and vibrant culture as the country progresses into the future.
