Adipurush dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir Shukla extended his unconditional apology for hurting people’s emotions three weeks after the film’s release in theatres worldwide. However, many social media users said that it was too late. And now, Vikram Mastal, who has played Lord Hanuman in TV show Ramayan, has reacted to Manoj’s note.
Sharing his views on Manoj’s apology note on social media, Vikram told a news portal that the writer has defamed Sanatandharma in the whole world by spending Rs 600 crore.He also toldManoj that he should’ve realised this right after the film’s release and should’ve apologised on day 1. “How can you make such a big mistake by being intelligent and educated,” he asked.

On Saturday, Manoj said he accepts that Adipurush has hurt people’s sentiments. “I accept that people’s emotions have been hurt by Adipurush. With folded hands, I extend my unconditional apology. May Prabhu Bajrang Bali keep us united and grant us strength to serve our sacred Sanatan and our great nation,” he wrote on Twitter.

The film, reportedly mounted on a budget of Rs 500 crore, earned Rs 340 crore in first three days but the box office collections went significantly down after the opening weekend. So far, it has raised over Rs 450 crore worldwide.
Directed by Om Raut, Adipurush stars Prabhas as Raghav (Ram), Kriti Sanon as Janaki (Sita), Sunny Singh as Lakshman, Devdutta Nage as Hanuman and Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh (Raavan).
