NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday launched the “Viksit Bharat @2047: Voice of Youth’, a platform to elicit the views of the youth for finalising policies to make India a developed nation by 2047, asserting that it was the right time to take a “quantum leap.”
Interacting with vice chancellors of universities, heads of Institutes and faculty members in workshops organised at Raj Bhawans across the country to mark the beginning of this initiative, Modi highlighted the role of educational institutions in the personality development of an individual and said that a nation becomes developed only with the development of its people.
The PM said that in the life of any nation, history provides a time when the nation can make exponential strides in its development journey. For India, “This Amrit Kaal is ongoing” and “this is the period in the history of India when the country is going to take a quantum leap”.
