Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha are set to tie the knot in Udaipur on September 24 and their wedding preps have begun in full swing. Their wedding is going to be a full-fledged big fat Indian wedding with all the various functions and festivities in place. Before their grand wedding in Udaipur, some functions are expected to take place in Delhi as well.
The couple had their roka ceremony in Delhi on May 13 which was an intimate affair attended by their family and close friends.Meanwhile, now as their wedding is nearing, today one could see the groom’s house being prepped for the pre-wedding festivities like Ardas and Kirtan. Today, trucks were being unloaded outside Raghav’s house to built a tent-like structure.
What sounds like a lot of fun, is that the families are set to begin their wedding festivities with a cricket match wherein it will be the Chopras Vs Chadhas. The couple loves cricket and was also spotted together watching an IPL match this year. Now it would be interesting to find out who wins the game.
Meanwhile, as per reports, Parineeti and Raghav’s choora ceremony will begin at 10 am on September 23 followed by a welcome lunch. The families will attend a lavish party in the evening with the theme, ‘Let’s party like it’s 90s’. These functions will take place at Taj Lake Palace.
The couple will later tie the knot on September 24 at The Leela Palace where a reception will also take place after the wedding rituals.
