Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha had a ‘no gifts’ policy for their wedding; Shagun envelopes strictly had only Rs 11 | Hindi Movie News

Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha had a dreamy wedding in Rajasthan, in the presence of close friends and family members. The couple had requested all their guests to refrain from getting gifts for the wedding and restricted the cash envelopes to Rs 11 only.
A source revealed, “Parineeti and Raghavhad asked all family members to avoid any gifts and mementos. Even the envelopes for milni (a Hindu wedding tradition to present a shagun envelope) were done with only Rs 11.Parineeti and Raghav wanted to focus on the traditions and celebration but do everything in the simplest way without getting into lavish presentations.”
For her wedding, Parineeti wore a cream and gold lehenga which took 2500 hours to create. Manish Manlhotra’s team had shared, “The beautiful tonal ecru base is adorned with intricate hand embroidery, using vintage gold thread in a mesmerising linear geometric pattern. Nakshi and metal sequins add a touch of elegance, perfectly complementing the delicate mesh blouse and tulle framework dupatta, each embellished with fair-sized pearls.” Parineeti’s bespoke attire also featured a tribute to her husband Raghav Chadha. Her tulle veil had Raghav’s name in Devanagari script, created with badla work. She completed her look with a multi-tiered necklace featuring Uncuts, Zambian and Russian emeralds in an antique finish. She paired it with earrings, a maang tikka, and haathphool featuring Uncuts, Diamonds and Russian emeralds add a final flourish to her bridal radiance.
Announcing their union, Parineeti and Raghav had shared in a statement, “From the very first chat at the breakfast table, our hearts knew. Been waiting for this day for a long time .. So blessed to finally be Mr and Mrs! Couldn’t have lived without each other .. Our forever begins now.”
