Opposition’s goal is to throw out our govt, govt’s goal is India’s bright future: PM Modi | India News

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday took a dig at the opposition parties for their protests in Parliament, asserting that their behavior would result in a further decline in their numbers in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, while the BJP would gain.
According to parliamentary affairs minister Pralhad Joshi, during the BJP parliamentary party address, PM Modi expressed his concern over attempts to justify the Parliament security breach, considering it as troubling as the incident itself.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had attributed the Parliament breach on December 13 to unemployment and price rise.
The prime minister said everyone believing in democracy and democratic values should have collectively condemned what had happened.
“How can a party believing in democratic values overtly or covertly justify it,” he said, according to BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad.
Addressing the recent assembly poll setbacks faced by opposition parties, PM Modi stated that their frustration was leading to disruptions in Parliament. He urged BJP members to maintain restraint and adhere to democratic norms.
As INDIA bloc parties convened to strategize against the BJP for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, PM Modi remarked that their objective is to remove his government, whereas his government aims to ensure a bright future for the country.
Additionally, the Prime Minister advised BJP MPs to visit border villages after the session.
