Nick Cannon had some good news for fans who were waiting for an update on Jamie Foxx‘s health.
The 55-year-old Oscar winner was said to be hospitalized after suffering an undisclosed “medical complication” last week.
“Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery,” his daughter Corinne told fans at the time.
Nick provided an update on Sunday (April 23), and he had some very good news for everyone who was concerned about the star!

Speaking to ET, Nick said that Jamie had given him permission to speak about his recovery.
“I know he’s doing so much better because I’m actually about to do something special for him, and doing him a favor,” Nick said, describing Jamie as his “big brother.”
“I can’t really say what it is, but it’ll be out there soon,” he continued. “I was reluctant to go all the way there, and even talk about it, but he gave me the blessing, so it’s a beautiful thing. He’s awake. They say he’s alert, so, we love it.”
Nick isn’t the first star to speak out about Jamie‘s recovery.
