A couple of days after it released CCTV footage of the March 2023 vandalisation attempt at the Indian High Commission in London, NIA put out clearer photos of five persons who could be seen disrespecting the Indian tricolour, and requested information from the public on their identity. “On March 19, 2023 these persons were involved in an attack on the High Commission of India, London. They caused grievous injury and disrespected the Indian National Flag. If anyone has any information about them, please Whatsapp/DM @ +917290009373,” the NIA tweeted on Wednesday evening.
The NIA has sought specific information on the five persons, including their name, address of their village and district, nationality, passport details and phone number.
On Monday, the NIA had released five videos from CCTV cameras at the Indian High Commission, and requested the public to help identify the pro-Khalistan protestors involved in vandalisation of the premises including a failed attempt to pull down the Indian national flag. It has said the identity of the informant coming forward with details of the protestors involved in the vandalisation attack, would be kept secret.
