Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his estranged wife Aaliya Siddiqui have been engaged in ugly fights for a while now. Earlier this year, Aaliya accused Nawaz’s mother of harassment and alleged that the actor disowned his two children, daughter Shora and son Yaani. She had also shared a disturbing video on social media to address her family issues. In a new interview, Aaliya has revealed the reason behind making her family feud public.
Aaliya said that she had to take things in public because she was suffering a lot. She felt suffocated if she didn’t talk about the issues. She feels finally at peace after the court their children to return to Dubai for studies and also asked both the parents to join them.

She further said that she still think that she shouldn’t have spoken about her family issues in public but she had to because she was mentally going through a lot. “When you’re in deep trouble, you’ve to resort to a public forum because you’ve no one to listen to you…When you’ve no one listening to you, you’ve to fight,” she told a news portal.

She added that she wanted the media to understand what she was going through for the past 12 years and wasn’t able to tell anyone about it. “My career was getting affected. I wasn’t allowed to work. They didn’t allow my career to further and wanted to hold me back,” she added.

Recently, Aaliya thanked Nawaz for working in her recent production Holy Cow, directed by Sai Kabir. It also featured Sanjay Mishra and released in theatres in August last year and on OTT platform last week.
