Recently, Agastya’s sister Navya Naveli took to her IG handle to share a video of her brother. She shared a throwback childhood video of her brother first in which he is playing the guitar, and then juxtaposed it with his current look in ‘The Archies’ in which he is doing the same.

Earlier, in an interview with India Today, Agastya Nanda said that his character ‘Archie’ is a casanova in the film. However, he wouldn’t call himself that. According to him, the only thing they share in common is their love for music, because it helps him deal with a lot of emotions and that’s where they are similar.

Talking about choosing to make his debut with the Zoya Akhtar directorial, the young lad said that it was Zoya who chose and they auditioned for it. He also added that being streamed in 190 countries at once is exciting. According to him, he couldn’t have asked for a better team of people to work with. Agastya also revealed that his team has become his best friends and they hang out a lot.
Agastya comes from a family whose maximum members belong to the film industry. When asked who he considers his role model, Agastya said that his role model is his dadi (grandmother), Ritu Nanda. Although she isn’t with them anymore, he has always aspired to be like her. According to him, she just had this warmth about her that if you were around her, you could feel like you could do anything. The budding star said he wishes to be like that, to give people around him all that positivity and love.
‘The Archies’ also stars Dot (Ethel Muggs), Mihir Ahuja (Jughead Jones), Vedang Raina (Reggie Mantle) and Yuvraj Menda (Dilton Doiley) in supporting roles. The film will be released on an OTT platform on December 7, 2023.
