The ceremony for the 69th National Film Awards 2023 was held today in New Delhi’s Vigyan Bhawan. One of the top honours at the ceremony went to Alia Bhatt who bagged the Best Actress award for her work on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi. She shares the honour with Kriti Sanon who won the award for her role in Mimi. Meanwhile, Allu Arjun won the Best Actor award for Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1, directed by Sukumar. Veteran actress Waheeda Rehman received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for her outstanding contribution to Indian cinema.

At the ceremony, Alia Bhatt who was joined by Ranbir Kapoor, wore her bridal saree. The lovely white saree turned heads as the actress made a statement about sustainability with her choice. Kriti Sanon opted for an ivory saree. Meanwhile, Allu Arjun wore a white ethnic look.
